luckily I didn't have to work today. I have to admit though, she did much better last night with getting washed up. I did it outside with the hose. I even got her to come up to me a couple of times and stand there for me. This was more so on the 2nd wash of the night. But still, impressive.
Her face still stinks though. around her eyes and stuff it's so hard to scrub. I'm gonna try using a toothbrush or something.
For future reference: 1 qt Hydrogen Peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and a bit of liquid soap works really well. I put baking soda directly on her as well to help scrub.
Curtis' friend's dog got sprayed a few weeks ago and he said that he got her all cleaned up and her body didn't smell anymore, but her mouth smelled for a solid week after. Such a bummer. Try and get her to drink tomato juice, that way she might get some on her face while drinking and help decrease the smell. I'm glad she was better! The more times she has to bathe, the easier it will get I'm sure. Particularly if she smells or has rolled in something, they know when they need help getting clean. PS let's hang out this week or next weekend.
