well, not that i was actually gone - what i mean is giddyup is gone so i have resumed my love affair with my laptop. i wrote the first day he was here and that is it. so i'm at about 21000 words atm. i would like it if i could get to 25000 - that would be halfway to 50000, which would be a nice round number. but even if i don't, at least i've ( Read more... )

Glad to hear you had a wonderful holiday with Giddyup Horsey. *giggles* That name just cracks me up. :D

Also glad to hear that your muse continues to kick you in the butt for NaNo. Over 20K is fantastic.

Thanks for your review of Burlesque. It looked cool, but now I'll just save my $$ and wait for it on cable.

apparently it was tweety bird in a cartoon - they went out to the country, and he said something about the moo moo cows and the giddyup horseys. :D

i'm contenting myself with my over 20000. it's not 50000 like some of my friends, but it's still pretty good, and certainly better than 0000.

and i'm glad if my review of burlesque was helpful, though you might love it. giddyup did, even though he recognized that objectively it was not a great movie. just depends on what you are looking for in your entertainment.
