my friend is starting an e-publishing company called elm books.  they are currently soliciting submissions for an anthology of mystery short stories to come out in time for christmas.  just thought i'd share the link to the website in case anyone is interested.  they will be publishing other things as well; that's just the first call for

Thanks for passing this on! I have a number of short mysteries, but all are set in LA, so the "winter-themed" requirement will need tweaking---winter here is distinguished just by the fact that it might rain!

yay! i hope something comes of it for you! we get the odd hailstorm here - do you get those up there? that could make for an interesting addition to a mystery, maybe.

Honey, I'm going to boost your signal on this one. I'm not a mystery writer myself, but I imagine there are more than a few in our fandom group. How kind of you to post this!

and i think there is going to be a romance anthology as well, which might be more up your alley. ;D i'll make sure to mention it if/when i find out more.
