Hands.

Feedback on this one would be appreciated, because frankly, I don't like it, and I'd like to see if&why other people concur.

I think it's nice. Good subject and composition?? But perhaps the focus should be on the hand since the main subject is the hand. With all the words in focus, you tend to get distracted and having all those words can be rather disorienting. Well, that's what I think.

I should have sat this one out. I dislike it because my hands in it!

It's like the extreme version of photo shyness.

I agree that the text makes the photo look busy and distracts from the hand... although my first thought was that there's too much of the book and not enough of the hand.

Nice ring.

[laughs]

You see, when someone says that they dislike their hands... and then someone else asks them to take a photo... well, it's all going to go wrong.

I can see that you have cute little nails. Or maybe that's the foreshortening.

I've been looking at the photo for a bit now, and I noticed that the ring ties in quite well with the first word I noticed on the book - Celtic.

The words do create a bit too much noise, though, but otherwise I think it's a pretty nice shot. I like the lighti and shadows.

[If that made any sense at all]

Yeah, the choice of book was intentional, and my ring is meant to be celtic-esque (the ninth wave and all).
