i have found ALOT Of people do it that way instead of the first. So I think thats actually the odd one out. XD cuz we're like WHAT?

I have no problem hooking in the back. I'm flexible enough and I am good at feeling it out, but I much prefer the bras that hook in front.

the ones that hook in front always bother me ): my poor sternum. but i find alot of people just do it in front. I guess that's easier, but that feels like a longer process to me XD

I put on the horizontal strap first. Then spin it around to the back. Position "the girls" in the cups carefully whilst bending at my waist. That seats them firmly in the cups. Then get the straps on and adjust those last.
