So, a few of you know that I make jewellery in my spare time, some of you even have some of my work. I've been looking on jewelry_bazaar and getting inspired.

I've made a lot of things and have them on reserve, I just need to photograph them and put them up, I want to sell them though and I found this place called Etsy.com where you can have your own little ( Read more... )

Like I said last night: beautiful. speaking as a beadworker and jewelry maker no less. Beautiful. Good for you for taking this step, kiddo. Proud of you!

I still need to look into some things though. Like should I go ahead and register a company name, get a bank account for said company and be totally legal...or should I just go onto Etsy and let it be something to do in the spare time, extra money, all e-bayish??? Maybe the latter for now.

But still, encouragement comes first before anything, something to give me a slight nudge in any good direction...so thank you so much, your praise means a lot!

BEE-UUU-TEEE-FUUUULLL!!!!

Very nice work. I can't wait to see more. Is there any way you can get closer when you take the pics? I'd love to get a closer look. I love amythyst beads (obviously; it's my birthstone!)

I'm sure your mum will love them! And I think it's great that you're going to try this - I know you've wanted to expand your jewellery making/selling for a while now. Go, you!

I wish I could've gotten a better picture, however, my better digital camera wasn't charged and I'd have to wait...it was already like 11pm when I took those...so I used my cell phone to take the ones above. I'd like to invest in a better camera though, maybe borrow Uncle Dave's if I can.

But I'm making some more things soon, and with the amethyst beads (birthstone you say...*whistles innocently while I dig for your address*) so I'll be taking more pictures, better ones, close ups...along with all the other things I've made. So there will be more :) And hopefully better.

Oh my god. Amazing. As someone who cannot do craftwork at all- I am thoroughly impressed. Just.. wow.

Thank you hon! I'm glad you like it. And you probably are good at crafts, you just haven't found the area in which you rock at yet! I got my friend Julie into beadwork and she called me one day from Halifax to jokingly bitch me out because she had spent WAY too much money at the local beadstore...but she has fun with it. Try different things....and I wasn't this good overnight either...my fingers have been stabbed by sharp wire more times than I can count, even Ray's having a tough time with this (he likes wirework) and he went to art school, sculpting and drawing and things...so it's learned...learned since Nana gave me some yarn and huge beads when I was a wee little thing.

You'll find something for sure! :D
