It's seriously diamond! More because the little dear was so earnest.

Waterworks are messy! I hate muss and fuss. *snuggles*

Sorry about the plumbing. It's like it knows, isn't it?

I thought the Christmas Day Poirot was quite enjoyable but apart from that there's been nothing much. I found the DW finale part 1 alternatively boring and embarrassingly bad. There were a couple of good scenes, though.

Yep, it's like the plumbing has an internal clock and fails at exactly the wrong time. *kicks it*

I've Sky plussed the Poirot but Dad wasn't interested so it'll have to wait.

I quite enjoyed the DW but I'm holding fire until Part 2. It seemed like a typical Part 1: lots or running around, sudden introductions of charas. All to be tied up, hopefully.

I wasn't sure about DW either and am waiting for part 2.

Yep, my thought exactly. I enjoyed it okay, loved Bernard and the cafe scene, but it needs more, which hopefully Part 2 will provide.

Bernard was brilliant. I'm staying away from spoilers for part two. I haven't watched any of the trailers. I only hope RTD has given David a proper episode to go out on.

I'm with you - no spoilers.

I liked Part 1 and don't see why some have been snorty and sniffy about it. It was perfectly acceptable telly, many times better than the usual, so what's the prob? Whether expectations have been reached is more to do the the expector.

Part 2 may well be better, and it's something to look forward to. Yay!

Oh, plumbimg? Oh dear. I hope you still have access to water.

I don't think we have watched any live TV this Christmas, but Wallace & Grommet were good - I'd never seen The Wrong Trousers before, and The Gruffolo was fun. I have DW saved, but not yet watched.

We still have water so not an emergency. Whew!

We've watched W&G multiple times, and it does bear re-watching, but fancied something original this year.

Dad is currently watching Two & A Half Men because there's so little on.
