Unfinished Business, Part 12 (Spander)

Aug 21, 2008 20:49

The Good: I had a wonderful time at writerconuk last weekend. The hotel was fine, the venue was very good, and all the workshops (including mine, amazingly) aroused interest and excellent participation. The organisers did a superb job, really couldn’t have been bettered. Can’t wait for next year!

The Bad: SGA has been cancelled. :( Such sad news. It ( Read more... )

Okay, I am in love with this!

"Mr Harris,” said the super through winded gasps, “I’ve been very understanding, but your…friend just scared away the prospective tenants I was showing around 2b! Naked ghosts with naked hard-ons dropping through nak… apartments aren’t included in the rent.”

That is just beyond hilarious! This is the best story ever! Really! I can hardly wait to see what happens with Willow!

“Say hello to her from me, yeah? All that loathing was just a front, you know. Deep down, she fancied me something rotten.”

Spike's ego is a glorious thing!

You write Spike and Xander so incredibly wonderfully!

Hee! I'm so glad you liked it, Gabrielle! Poor Willow - she has quite the challenge ahead, dealing with a stressed, frustrated Xander and a Spike who refuses to believe he's not the greatest thing on the face of the earth.

The boys had been jabbering away in my head all day, a sure sign they wanted to get out there on the page again. They won't be refused! *g*

Your sense of character is pure perfection, hon! I, for one, am tickled plaid that the boys won't leave you alone!

Thank you, sweetheart! They choose the strangest times to get insistent. I'm having a sensible conversation with father-in-law while they're shagging in my head. *g*

Hee! Wouldn't I like to be touring *that* apartment!!

Oh, Spike! How adorable is he? I totally agree with Xander - he gets bonus points for the self-delusion, but he's still cute! :P

Great job, honey!

If I thought that was going to happen on a regular basis, I would've snapped up that apartment before the super had time to open his mouth!

Spike's so innocent, in a really, really weird way. He just can't conceive of a world that he's not the centre of. :p

Thanks, hon! You're a treasure. *smooch*

Heh, I wonder what next?

That was delightful, hon. Even though I've never watched SGA, I'm puzzled why they cancelled it.

I suspect the boys are wondering, too. *g* So glad you liked, love!

One of the reasons they're giving for cancelling SGA is that the exchange rate between the American and Canadian dollars has become unfavourable. Also, it'll hit the 100 eps mark after 5 seasons so go into syndication. It's all a sad reminder of what they did to Angel.

Spike is so full of himself. Xander is fixing to loose his apartment if he doesn't get things under control with Spike. Great chapter. Update soon.

Oh yeah, Spike thinks he's wonderful! *g* The prospect of losing his apartment, and the chance of some great sex, are definitely motivating Xander. Glad you liked! :D

Yay for Spander!
I love this story! :) :)
Lol
Naked men with naked hard-ons . . .
That had me laughing like crazy . . .
My mom thought I'd lost my mind.

Hee! Glad to give you a good giggle! There's always something funny about naked men.

Sorry your mom doubts your sanity. Maybe she'd be reassured if you made her a cup of tea...or maybe not. *g*

Haha
Making her tea is a wonderful idea. :) I doubt it'll restore her faith in my sanity, but I'm sure it'll make her feel good anyway.
