Excited!

I'm so chuffed about going to Writercon in July! vic_amy_z just sent some hotel details for Vegas, to where we're decamping after the con. We're going to have such a wonderful time! Vic, suki_blue, vampirefever and I are going to enjoy every minute of Atlanta and Vegas. Luckily, not one of us is a big gambler. We're going for the atmosphere and the coolness of the side ( Read more... )

Whee! You're gonna have so much fun sweetie! I'd still ask about a Visa though, make sure they know you've been living in the UK for years. That might make a difference.

Then again I haven't gone out of state for over two years, what the heck do I know? LOL

MWAH! HUGGLES! SNOGS!

Thank you, love! I think you're right. An Australian who's a British resident might have some different requirements. It would be dreadful to be turned away at Customs and loaded onto a flight back to the UK because I don't have the right paperwork.

I'd only have myself to blame because I can't blame any country for being very careful about who sets foot on its territory. You and I know I'm completely harmless but they don't.

BWAH! SNUGGLES! GROPES!

Thank you, love! What really kills me is that until a little while ago you were living in Vegas and we could have met!! I think a side trip to Idaho might be a step too far this time. One day. :)

*hugs*

I know. But only the possibility of meeting you would have made it worth staying in Las Vegas; because Vegas may be a fun place to visit, but it SUCKS to live there! SUCKS! SUCKS! SUCKS!

Still, I wish like anything that I could meet you!

LOL! Then I'm really glad you got away from Las Vegas to the delights of Boise. I haven't a clue about anything at all, never having visited the 'States before, but I get the distinct impression that Vegas is more for visiting than living in! Four days or so should do us very nicely, especially since we're not interested in the tables. I might put a few dollars into the one-armed bandits, but that'll be it.

I do want to have a look around Atlanta, too. Quite apart from the com, it sounds like a pretty place.

I wish so much I could meet you too! My luck with meeting online friends for real has been extraordinarily good. They have all been so lovely and bright and interesting. I can honestly say there hasn't been a single disappointment and I know we'd have a wonderful time!

We're so excited about meeting you, too. Suki and I are vibrating with antici...pation! I'm very much hoping the next few months just fly by and we'll be hugging before we know it. In the meantime ...

LOL! I do live in England. I'm Australian by birth and I hug my nationality to me. I root for the Australian cricket team and Olympic athletes but I've spent over half my life in England, thanks to marrying a pom.

Can't you move your plans forward just a tiny bit, hon? I can't tell you how much I'd love to meet you. Though why you'd want to meet a middle-aged, overweight Aussie/Brit, I have no idea. *g*

Nope, no bestiality occurred. Hmmm. Perhaps you should see my husband before you believe that. Just kidding. ;)

The queer Bash sounds like fun, even if you do have to wear a ball gown. I never could get along with those things. What the hell is taffeta anyway? I hope you have a brilliant time. Good for Joey; what a lovely birthday pressie. *hugs Joey*

Maybe one day we'll be in the same city at the same time. Wouldn't that be cool? :)

*hugs you extra hard*

Thank you, hon! I'm excited too. It's going to be a blast, even if I do wear a silly t-shirt. *g*

*hugs back with added smoochies on the side*
