I also think that Plath would agree with Winterson. Plath shows signs of exaggeration and dramatization in her work, but nothing over the top. If she wrote an autobiography, it may be laced and tweaked with her own art and lies

Well said! "Your heart may become heavy with time and more experience.." I really enjoyed this point because as we age our worries and responsibilities add up and the carefree spirit we once had is ruined.

I agree that Sylvia may have known she was going to kill herself when she wrote the poem "Daddy". It really seems like a warning, or a foreshadowing of some kind.
