So, how does one write a conference abstract anyway? I have never submitted to an abstract only submission and I am confused by the whole concept. My first draft appears to be more like an introduction.
write your 'introduction', cut it down by half, make sure you have a sentance about your approach (method?!) and a brief summing up sentance... 'use 'will be/is discussed' as that is generally your aim rather than a load of results). Doesn't have to be perfect, more of a taster...
Heh, my approach is along the lines of, here is some stuff we noted in case studies and now I am reviewing the technology gap that lead to this and the implications this raises blah blah.
Not sure that this counts as an approach... or in fact something publishable but about 5 people have ordered me to write something now so I have to. ;)
it sounds fine - conference abstracts for this sort of thing tend to be a bit wishy washy... just keep emphasising that there is a problem and you are good becuase you are telling everyone. It will be fine ;)
ah ha... but there was a no purchase neccessay option... write your name and address on a piece of paper and send it to them... small print ;) anyway, will see you later and update you then... expecting it to arrive tomorrow hopefully!
