What a fantastic point of origin for shipping. As a manufacturer, nothing is really outside of the three day shipping range by ground transport for delivery. Score!

That's why so many national companies got based out here and Saint Louis. There was a big migration to the midwest last century for specifically that reason. 8-)

It works great for people making their living off garage-based merchanting. 8-)

Nah... my husband's got the government job covered, and my girlfriend is doing the corporate non-profit social-services thing, which is like one step over the line from government. It certainly has enough paperwork and government oversight.
