Sounds good! How did you get the job with Samhain, was it by a similar process? I'd love to review supernatural/horror stuff one day but didn't study English or anything like that to university level, and am wondering how to get my foot in the door.

I got the Samhain job after meeting the guy who ran the magazine at a sci-fi convention :-) It was great, got lots of free books and videos to review, but unfortunately the magazine went down after a decine in readers.
Your best bet is probably to scour the net for e-zines pertaining to what you want to review and just drop them a line. I haven't studied English to degree level either, but as long as you have a fluent and consistant writing style and a good knowledge of grammar and punctuation (which you obviously do) then you'll be away!!

Thanks Mikey!! I got an email back from them yesterday, they were very happy with my review, all I need to do is just polish it up a wee bit for publication, then it will be in next months zine (hopefully) ;-)
