I thought everyone danced at weddings and so forth. Even if not the fast ones, the slow ones where you just sway back and forth. Hell, I danced at my sister's wedding without a date during the fast ones because...it's not like anyone was fucking looking at me, right? (Though, of course, someone probably was...I always assume that...because I am always the one making smart ass comments about other people looking like idiots. But not women...unless they look like the are desperately seeking attention.)
So what about your dancing icon you used to have?
In the very least, women who are not unattractive can get away with a totally off-time hip wiggle and breast shake.
i do still have my dancing icon. it is from me drunk dancing to one song Hey Ya, while on the smoking balcony at a NYE party in front of one friend. I thought she was just taking a picture. i did not know she was doing video, don't think i would have danced if i had known that. being silly in front of one friend seemed harmless, dancing in a room full of people, not my cup of tea. She turned it into an icon, and the icon is in a weird slow motion which makes it fun. That was taken about 6 years ago I think
( ... )
i use to love going to those shows with my brother, and yeah i danced, the whole kick your feet out ska dance thing. we went to the Wetlands a lot, but that place closed down a few years ago.
i had a pair of black and white checkered pants that i wore sometimes, but that was about it if i remember right.
OMG, this made me laugh, and then cry. I mean, I could be hormonal, but it could also be that I just relate. When I dance, I look a string of wet spaghetti someone is whirling viciously between their fingers (or so my sister told me).
But you know what? Sometimes I turn up my iPod and get jiggy in front of the mirror. It looks bad, but it's so much fun!!!!!
