As materialistic/fake/princessy I may seem at times, ok most of the time, I do think about these things sometimes. Not so much what's the story behind objects but if I see a person I love to just stare and see what they're like and try to figure out their life, yeah I know kinda creepy, but I do it all the time on bart and just leave my shades on so no one can tell I'm staring =P
