I've decided to be a bit weird about things, maybe, sometimes. Hahah. Anyway, I'm an open book: you can say or ask anything you want.

I try to be a type nerd, but I don't know if I'm anal enough for it. I recently typeset two books for my work though (see http://press.terminus.net.au/ for links), and in the colophon at the end I go into much unwanted detail about it.

I have actually, in all honesty, never made a pie. I've never been asked to even help make a pie. (It might be that my mom won't eat cooked fruit. That kind of trims down my audience of eaters down to... 2, if I'm at home.) I'm a cookie and sweet breads kind of girl.

I've realized all it does is play to the anal side in me... and yet I kind of love it. I've accidentally typeset for 8 hours straight without break before realizing it was even close to that long. There's something extremely gratifying about touching and feeling the type, adjusting the leading and the initial letters, justifying and aligning.
