“Hey, hey! Isn't that the boss's kid?”
Two other pairs of eyes swiveled around to join the first in staring at the long legged young man who was carefully juggling boxes while trying to shut the door at the same time.
“You know... I do believe it is....”
“We should definitely go say hello and introduce ourselves. I mean... He looks like he needs help, right?”
The trio shared a grin before descending upon their prey.
“Why hello there~ Let us help you!”
Shim Changmin could only blink in confusion as both the boxes he'd been struggling with were taken from him by two grinning strangers while a third held open the door. “Umm... Hi.”
“So you're Changmin, right? Your mom has told us so much about you.”
He didn't have much choice but to follow the two with his boxes as the third herded him along. “Has she?”
“She did indeed. I'm Yoochun, by the way. And that's Junsu and Jaejoong.” The vague gesture towards the other two didn't really clarify which was which, but Changmin didn't really care, honestly. “Just think of us as the welcoming committee. Anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. Seriously.”
No smile dripping with that much innocence and benevolence could really be genuine.
He gave Yoochun a suspicious look, but shrugged and sped up to swat at the hands that had started opening his boxes. “Stay out of that.”
Jaejoong pouted but stepped away from the desk, his attention drifting now that the newcomer had proven less than friendly in his mind. “I was just trying to help.”
“Thanks, but no thanks. I can handle it.” Changmin scowled and turned to start mapping out how he wanted his new desk set up.
“Do you have a picture of your wife in here? Your mom says she's a hottie.”
“Hey!” Yoochun was still pawing through things with great interest, Junsu trying to edge him aside to get at the other box. “I said to stay out of that! And what does the attractiveness or lack thereof of anyone else's wife have to do with you?”
The man gave him a smarmy smile and a wink. “I'm currently single and must live vicariously through my co-workers.”
“Well you're not-”
A frame came out of the second box and Junsu hooted with laughter. “A fanboy! Aww... Do you go to those conventions too?”
Yoochun leaned over to get a better look, then whistled low as Changmin glared at them. “Jaejoong! Come look at what Minnie Mouse has!”
“Don't call me that,” Changmin growled, snatching the frame away and placing it carefully on his new desk next to the computer monitor. “And leave my pictures alone.”
Just because it wasn't in their hands any longer didn't keep Jaejoong from strolling over to take a look. “Wow... Isn't that from like... his very first movie ever or something?”
The younger man clenched his eyes shut and answered through gritted teeth. “His third movie, first starring role.”
That got another burst of laughter from the trio. “Does your wife know she married Jung Yunho's number one fanboy or are you still in the closet about it?”
“Jackasses,” Changmin muttered as he flapped his arms to shoo them away. “Don't you guys have something better to do than bother me?”
They shared a look then grinned at him. “Nope.”
“Then maybe I should give your jobs to someone who considers it worth their time and effort.” Everyone but Changmin panicked slightly at the sound of their usually pleasant but occasionally scary boss's voice.
Junsu actually squeaked as he hit a desk corner darting back to his own chair.
Shim-sshi gave them all a severe look before glancing at the framed magazine cover that had so captured everyone's attention. She shook her head and snorted. “You still have that?”
Blushing under his mother's sudden amusement, Changmin mumbled something about liking the picture.
“Boys.” She smiled and stretched to ruffle his hair. Then she turned her attention back to the three that had been teasing him. “I realize that my son is the shiny new toy at work, but try to remember that this isn't grade school. You each have actual work and responsibilities that come before giving him a hard time.”
“Yes, Shim-sshi!” They all chimed obediently. Once everyone was working again, she smiled and winked at her pouting son.
Her fortune cookie from lunch had been right after all - there was going to be lots of entertainment to brighten her future.

Changmin sighed and rolled his shoulders slightly as he opened the door and finally dropped his bag to the floor.
Home.
At last.
He took a deep breath and smiled as the delicious scent of curry and chicken wafted to him from the kitchen. “Honey, I'm home~”
There was a muffled greeting and a loud clanging sound from the same direction as the food smells and he had to laugh slightly, not needing to fully understand the words to know he was being playfully scolded for watching too many old tv reruns.
He loosened his tie and kicked off his shoes before heading to the bedroom to change out of the suit he'd worn for his first day. Hopefully his mother didn't expect him to keep wearing something so formal. No one else had been dressed up in anything fancier than Junsu's polo and even that had been worn with khaki's.
The soft cotton of his loose sleep pants was so much more comfortable and he sighed as he pulled them on.
“She better appreciate this,” he grumbled. Typically he worked from home where he didn't even have to get dressed if he didn't want to. Having to actually go into an office was annoying and he wouldn't bother for anyone other than his mother.
Soft laughter proceeded the arms that wrapped around his waist and the kiss between his shoulder blades. “You know she does.”
Changmin sighed and relaxed, all the residual tension from his new co-workers bleeding away finally. “I know, but she could have at least warned me about how obnoxious her employees are.”
“Hard day?”
He made a face. “By the end of the day I was going to break someone's nose if I heard the phrases 'fanboy' or 'man-crush' one more time.”
“Oh god...” He went easily as he was urged around. “You're still displaying that magazine cover aren't you?”
“It's a good picture!” Changmin defended himself, pouting. “And it was your first big spread. One of us has to display it with pride.”
Yunho laughed softly and kissed Changmin. “Since you won't let me tell the press we're married, you can't really be surprised that people accuse you of being a fanboy when you're displaying a magazine cover I was on six years ago.”
Changmin wrinkled his nose and wrapped his arms around his husband's neck. “Your fans are batshit crazy. Excuse me for wanting to stay under their radar.” Then he smiled and began walking backwards, tugging the other with him. “Besides... I like having you all to myself... ”
As they tumbled into bed, smug pride wrapped around the love and lust.
Jung Yunho was totally worth being teased for.
