I totally ADORED this fic!! Sometimes canon AU's don't work for me, probably because I often want to see the fallout from what happens on the show.

But, this one works and works well! I also love how you incorporated future dialogue into the fic as well as giving Merlin and Morgana a glimpse of what might have been.

OMG I loved this fic so freaking much!!!! Everything about it was wonderful. I loved Arthur's acceptance and Merlin's devotion. Uther was so believable. And it was heartbreaking to read how canon got it wrong, but it worked in this story.

Guh. I just...I don't even have words for how much I loved this fic. I seriously read it all in one sitting. It's all I've been doing since I woke up this morning.

Brilliant, wonderful fic. And now I really want to read that scene where Gwaine flirted with Gaius ;-)

Wow! This was wonderful! And Arthur having auramancy was such an interesting change to Arthur just finding out and tolerating the magic. Your rendering of Uther was very much in character and I found it interesting to see how he dealt with all these circumstances challenging his long-standing anger/hatred. The end results (as well as that epilogue) make me wish there was still more to read!

All in all, I truly enjoyed this story and had a great time reading it!

I've always thought that Arthur had more common sense than his father in a lot of things and that he'd be able to see the potential for good as much as the potential for bad if he was truly given the opportunity.

There might end up being a sequel. My beta and my sis and my artist are all pushing for it, so... Anything is possible.
