I saw some footage on the news earlier today and I couldn't help feeling devastated from what I'm seeing :/ I'm glad your parents are ok though. I can only imagine how scary it must've been trying to fight all those water and trying to survive without sleeping & electricity. Sorry about all the stuff you lost too ): such a pity. I hope you won't ever have to go through anything like this ever again *huggles*

Not everyone was as lucky as us, so I'm thankful that even though the flood reached our house, my family was still alright. Thanks Ev *hugs*

It's horrible when things like this happen. I can't say i know how you feel, coz i don't, but i can imagine how terrible it must be.
It's good you guys are all safe, and even though you've lost a lot of precious things like albums and photos, you've still got your family. I hope it gets better for your parents and your family.

It's hard for me to imagine as well, because this has never happened to us before. Albums and photos are important but the safety of my family is more precious, so I'm glad they got through it alright. Thanks Izzi *hugs back*

Pray for the lost with you. *hugs* And I'm glad your parents are okay, it must has been a very terrible experience for you ): I've had once faced something similar, walking -more like flowing- across a city street with water flooded up to my neck. Our tropical countries always have to deal with these, but recent years have been so bad. And I could never imagine someone in my flist has to go through these things, too. It's so horrible.

Kidding aside, I'm so glad my parents are okay. Material things can be replaced but not the special people around you. I pray it never happens again.
