Mostly because yesterday it was all, "What if Coulson is Tim Drake who somehow ended up in the Marvel universe with no way home? At least if Coulson is Tim Drake it means no Return of the Joker so his brain is intact and un-brainwashed. Also, I can't help but think he'd draw the inevitable parallels between Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark - rich party boys who are really/also superheroes; orphans with Issues living up to Dad's legacy... I'm a sucker for meta, so.
