My oldest niece gave me a case of "Oh, God, I'm so old today" today. Not intentionally, or if it was, she is clearly an evil mastermind bent on slowly - or not so slowly, depending on the day - driving me insane. Yes! My mom's the same way. I actually went looking for my old notebooks and was fascinated/horrified by what I found. Oh, younger me. /o\

I was teaching some kids (children who lived where i stayed as a starving student.) how to play with marbles. Steelies and Cobs..

I remember marbles being a pretty popular thing when I was a kid! I was horrible, of course, but yes. :)?

(I remember the ones that looked like a cat's eye were the best and highly coveted.)

oh goodness! it seems like every few years that comes up. I remember at least 3 different times my nephew and niece were doodling it on their papers and they're now in 10th and 11th grade

Omg. It made me feel sooo ancient suddenly.
Pogs were pretty awesome though.
Who knows, maybe hair colored mascara is the next big fashion trend.
