Incidentally, I had this idea ages ago about an AU where Danny is a grumpy nurse with a heart of gold at the hospital and Steve brings Mary in or something. IDEK, but it would have been hilarious, methinks. XD

...And now I'm picturing Steve drawing grumpy nurse!Danny with his awesome bedside manner while Grace looks on laughing. Danny had Grace while Rachel and Stan are out of town, or something, and Danny was called in and couldn't find a sitter and she was supposed to be in the break room but ended up gravitating to Steve. Danny, has no idea how anyone could be as accident-prone as Steve (seriously, in Danny's work it's a good thing not to have repeat customers, right?) and then, IDK, shenanigans. *hands*
