I think the high pitched shriek and fleeing the room probably goes along with the screen punching, but that's just me. :)

So that's what that spider is called. I saw them all the time back in Tennessee, but I never knew anything about them (other than they weren't really dangerous - but, then again, I saw black widows and brown recluses all the time as well).

I don't think they are either, it's just my irrational reaction to big spiders of any kind. *hands*
