asdflkjdslfjsadl, the whole thing is genius, the stealth crossover being just well-written enough and yet still completely on crack enough that it works. I. I just. I ♥ you.

But the best part? Akiha! Omg, I ♥ your Akiha. The hearts in the prose! That's perfect, that totally worked for him. And! Having a fondness for window entrances! But figuring he's got a real invitation this time, so he'll use the door! Hee!

Also: He follows behind a moment later, still grinning, because they're going on a -

"It's not a date!" Sempai yells, already halfway down the hall.

That was perfect right there. I totally sporfled and went ♥! again.

Scooby Doo has to have the record for most crossovers ever. I can't even imagine who thought that would be a good idea back in the day, but it totally works. You just know one day he's going to meet the Power Puff girls or something. (Which, honestly? Would be kind of awesome.)

Also? I'm glad you liked this because I have this habit of cracking myself up with the stupidest stuff because I have absolutely no class.

But yes! Akiha would so totally have little hearts all over the place, and considering how many winds he's been through (either climbing or being thrown out of) he must have gained some sort of appreciation for them! :D

The best ones are from the '70s because they're just completely insane and dumb. The Scooby Doo of today is just... missing some quality that I can't put my finger on. Either soul or crack. One or the other. (Scooby Doo and the Power Puff girls would be really kinda awesome. Or a Scooby Doo anime remix ala Powerpuff Girls Z.)

It really never fails to amaze me that the one of them that actually likes women sometimes is the completely gay one, while the other who only likes men is the non-flaming one, the one who is irritated as hell by how ♥ Akiha is.

And windows are great! You don't have to go down the hallway where Sempai might hear you coming and duck out of the room or give his spidey sense a chance to go off, you just go straight for his office and pounce on him! So much more direct that way! ♥

Those are the only ones that count. You're definitely right in that today's Scooby Doo (well, really ever old show that's been resurrected) lack something. Soul, or just the fact that they didn't worry so much about 'omg, that's not PC!', or unduly offending anyone. They were fun and full of stupidly wacky hijinks. Now...meh. It's lke everything is stupid because they're only doing it to make money, or they think it has to be packed with Messages and Morals and Edumacational things.

But he;s only gay for Sempai, so...um...it balances out? (I don't know what I was trying to say there, really.) And ahaha...Umeda is just awesome that way, I guess. :D
