So there is news about Robert Picardo's character from SG-1 making an appearance on SGA next season.

Ahahaha...can I say that this is like...something that should have happened sooner? I mean...the whole lack of ethics we got to see throughout season two? And now this?

And now for spoiler-y, rambling thoughts on the matter )

sg-1, sga, spoilers

Word. To everything.

Also, why wasn't here there before? They made such a point of saying on SG-1 that the IOA was funding Atlantis because they had more control over the civilians, but you never see them. Why weren't they there?

I'm sure they'll say they were 'monitoring events from afar', reading reports and such as they recieved them, but the events in 'Allies' was the final straw, the thing that made it vital for the IOA to investigate Atlantis? (What with the putting EARTH in dire peril and all.)

Isn't Atlantis is supposed to be considered a sort of war zone, in regards to the situation with the Wraith, or have I missed something? Maybe the SGC considered it too risky to allow anyone to go to Atlantis that might reflect badly on the expedition and the SGC should they be killed. (I'm stretching for an answer here, because I think the SGC would perhaps be stalling, maybe trying to protect Atlantis from the IOA's scrutiny. I'm sure the SGC must have been keeping the IOA pretty busy as well.)

Honestly though, I agree with you. Where were they all this time?
