I loved how smoothly you incorporated the fighting with the dialogue. You are reeeeeeeally good at making the descriptions vivid. This was awesomely amazing and I can't wait for more :3

I'd been struggling with absolutely no idea of what to make the chapter about or what should be happening. Then Cloud told me:

Bull shit.

It kind of all came together after that. lol - glad the talking while fighting bit worked. It just seemed as if Cloud would wait for something bizarre and distracting going on to get into a deep, personal emotional discussion. Glad you liked it XD

LOL - you totally made me grin like an idiot - go fight those monsters! And, heh, I do like exploring what makes someone themselves. It wouldn't have fit but I always wanted to do a 'what if Cloud really HAD been a clone in TWT' type of thing. In the end, would it have even mattered? So I suppose this is just me exploring what makes us ourselves again. Is Cloud Cloud because of the body he wears or what's inside it - and how far can I push that question. So I guess we'll see together - lol ( ... )

ASDFGHJKL. RUDE IS HER FIANCEE?! (Okay, I really didn't see that one coming. Like, at all.)

You do such a good job at keeping the character both them but also the people that are playing them. As a reader, I don't just care about the characters, I care about whose playing them. You also do an awesome job with all the characterizations. I absolutely love Jessie and Red. You just make the characters so real and give each one of them their own voice.

You're worried it's not hot enough? Hah! Cloud is sex in skin. Whether it's waggling his eyebrows at Tifa or dispatching a monster, he's so sexy. So, whatever scene he's in, it's pretty dang hot on it's own.

I'm so glad your back to writing! We've missed Avatar (but, mostly we've missed you).

*GLOMPS* Such a great chapter! You always make it better than the last.

XD!! It's so good to be back *catches and huuuuugs back* Yeah, lol, originally Rufus was going to be Tifa's fiance - but it just wouldn't write - Tifa totally smashed that idea. Rude however was entirely willing to step forward and so there we went. And awww, awesome. I'm trying very hard to keep them in character and yet fit the fact that, in the outside world they're not a ex mako victim and a bartender. It lets me explore the basics of what make Cloud Cloud and Tifa Tifa but I worry that sometimes I might get too carried away. It's a weird line to be walking but I'm having so much fun with the exploring. And - you know, I never really cared about Jessie much and I don't really use Red in my stories most of the time but - they really insisted on fleshing themselves out and taking up the story in their own right. Most of the characters have and it's been such a surprise (and such a lifesaver for me - lol). I'm glad they've got their fans. Heh - you're right. Cloud really doesn't have to do much to make the air sizzle, ( ... )

*hugs back with enthusiasm!* And, wow, thank you. I always feel a little unsure about fight scenes. Who goes where and how many times can I get away with using the word 'skid'? So I take it as a high compliment indeed :D Also - heh - had to be Rude. Tifa wouldn't take Rufus when I offered. ;)

you had me laughing so hard at your subtle threats toward Rude that the dog's looking at me funny. Apparently you are not alone in your feelings toward Rude. Poor guy just can't catch a break! Though really - what was he thinking in the first place? I LOVE the team up of Cloud, Tifa, Nanaki too! Went through the whole game with them once and had a lot of fun. Besides, I could just imagine that whenever they had to bunk down for the night at Cosmo Red slept in his grandfather's house and that left Cloud and Tifa alone in that cozy room all night long. Good Nanaki. If you do dig out the old PS and get carried away, I will totally take happy responsibility for that. Do it! do it!!
