It all started just before I was going to Texas. I needed to buy a little bird feeder so I could be sure Booth could get water if she decided to ignore her water bottle. HEEEE! That is so funny. And very awesome. LOL. (Is it sad that when you said pregnant hamsters I thought of a silly one-shot I wrote where I inflicted characters with a pregnant hamster and I was afraid your story would go into some hamster infestation and that you were finding hamsters in your bed and...*shuts up* I obviously have an overactive imagination. And way too much caffeine in my system.)

I don't know much about hamsters, but the balls dropping incident is amusing and confusing. I was going whaat the whole time. How old is Albert?

lol - yeah, hams go through puberty fast. At this point, he's probably about a month old. Given their short lifespan I suppose it's a 'do it all NOW' mindset - lol. I'd feel more stupid about not realizing he was male when I got him if the pet store clerk hadn't actually flipped him over on his back and stared at him upside-down hard enough to look for his nipples. Figure that means she would have noticed certain other... assets had there been there and I was just being stupid and missing them at that point.

they are a lot of fun :D the vet doesn't even bother go and get his gloves anymore when I come in with one of them. Just knows they're going to be sweet. I suspect it's because they're spoiled rotten all their lives but that might just be me ;)

ahhh, the precursors to 'is your refrigerator running?... well, you'd better go catch it!' ;) Little Prince Albert however does get out of his can pretty often at my house so I guess it all comes around. :)
