Okay, I have a one track mind, and although the whole chapter was wonderful (and you've set up a very edge-of-your-seat kind of mystery!) I am still stuck back at the point where Tifa -- as the actress behind Tifa -- thinks that she's not single anymore.

Say what?!?!

But actor Cloud is so hung up on her... and she's starting to be hung up on him! What what what???

I'm so agreeing with everyone else...Tifa not single? But what about Cloud! D:

I actually re-read that line several times to check I hadn't just misread it, lol.

But yes, this chapter was awesome! Perfect pick-me-up before a boring university lecture, lol. Glad the gamers are making appearances again, and I think Swift and Macy are hilarious. Swift is cute in that he seems to care for Tifa so much...omg. Is Swift Tifa's boyfriend/husband/significant other? Oh please don't do that, that would be cruel XD (well, he hasnt mentioned being annoyed at Cloud's constant flirting with her).

But they're stuck in the game now? With Rufus Shinra? I don't know the game that well, but I do know that's not good XD Poor Tifa, nearly dying. Imagine Cloud's reaction if that had actually happened O_o

ooo, I hadn't even thought of Swift being Tifa's significant other but that WOULD be evil! You've got a point though, he doesn't seem very phased by Cloud's hitting on her. I do have plans for Swift though. BIIIIG plans - potentially evil plans - but hopefully plans that will work out well.

Heh - I used to enjoy a new story before a uni lecture too. Gave my brain something to do with itself ;)

and, yep, even though it's 'just a game' I figure - that deeply immersed, 'dying' has got to still freak you. I mean, heck, you know me - I can't even stand my character dying in Zelda and I'm sitting at home on the couch with that one. And - if they had died... would Tifa have gotten the chance to see the real Cloud?

Yeah, which is how I know you won't kill Cloud or Tifa....or if you do, you'll bring them back :P And yes, real Tifa must see real Cloud. Who, I suspect, used to flirt with her and make her a bit nervous and stuff, so she got a safe boyfriend to protect herself from him, probably thinking he was just playing but he was actually flirting with her and is thus crushed :( Poor Cloud

lol - I think that's the first time I've heard 'hot, sweet and perv' all applied to the same guy. I LOVE it! Poor Cloud.

I'm kinda getting dragged along on this one - which makes for a fun ride even if I don't know why or where we're going. Glad you're enjoying it too. and yeah - all that 'Cloud and Tifa' - that's entirely Cloud's fault. If he gets the chance, he's taking it! Next chapter - Cloud and Tifa in the holding cell. ;)

This chapter is really intense in terms of action sequence and drama and stuff like that that's sadly overshadowed by that little "not single" line *lol*

Everything's great except the mind just keep coming back to that one. WWWWWRRRRRRYYYYYY???!!!

I blinked at it several times to make sure it's really there. Now where's that Egyptian river to drown myself in until you next update...

is it wrong I got the over-dramatic picture of someone on their knees, hands raised to the sky screaming 'whhhhhhyyyy?' when I read your post? LOL - it was GREAT! And don't go too far wading in that river, I've got the next chapter mostly written. My Naruto muse is sweet and doesn't mind writing several chapters for me so I can meet my deadline and have time to write Avatar. He's such a sweet muse (on the whole) - I have no idea why the others can't learn from his example. Instead I get Cloud - who's constantly going 'can I touch her again? how about now? now? what about now?' siiigh - good thing I love him so much.

Very dramatic chapter, I must say. Much fighting and adrenaline and aaaaaaugh! They're stuck in the game now? Now I become concerned for Macy and Swift and Black and White and all them! Heck, I'm concerned for everybody!
So...death in a game you're stuck in...effectively real death?
I am very scared, but Cloudy makes everything safe. *snuggles* The ladder bit was cute, very very very cute. I am well pleased. (By which I mean I'm squealing out of my mind.)
Also, hooray for the introduction of Rufus! I randomly love that guy already, even if he is an ass...
I must agree with The_Tower_Room on the matter of dunking oneself into the Nile until next update. Anything to pass the hours...

you know, you're the first person to worry about the gamers back in reality. And there's reason to worry for them too - though that won't come up until later. And they don't have a Cloudy to keep them safe either. ;)

my sister loves Rufus too, even though he's an ass. Something about him being a suave ass - lol.

as for death in the game suddenly becoming real death... well, the actors haven't thought of that yet. Shouldn't take long though given the circumstances...
