It was so much fun to write, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) I love the potential for sweetness in the pairing -- even though it's teacher/student, it just doesn't feel as bad! dirty! wrong! as, say, Will/Rachel. I think it's because, like I said above, Will and Quinn are thematically linked on the show, as "better" versions of their existing partners, and then he was going to get her baby, and then she hugged him, and! So, yes, it's sweet. :D

Oh, this is marvellous -- the understated style is perfect for Quinn and their relationship follows a completely logical path based on where the show had stopped at Christmas (I haven't seen the latest one yet).

If you can get them into the same space, the pairing makes a LOT of sense, in a weird way, and allows Will to be sweet and adorable and just a liiiiittle skeevy -- you know, like he is on the show. :D And Quinn! I have this really visceral emotional response to her: I love her so much, and she just makes my heart hurt. So I wanted someone to respect her and take care of her. :)

Yes! I'd always felt Will was just slightly skeevy though never in a way that actually bothered me. And I did love how the show really complicated Quinn as a character even if they did awful things to her in order to make that happen. The poor dear!

Me too! It's like, he's juuuuuust skeevy enough that the thought of him sleeping with a student isn't totally out of the question, but he's such a sweetheart that you could believe it would be a happy, positive experience for all parties. If that makes sense. :D

And oh yes, poor Quinn. Though, she did start out so awful that she needed something big to shake her up. But she was set up to be not pure evil -- I love that conversation she has with Rachel, where she acknowledges that if the situations were reversed, she would have tortured Rachel. That's... a lot of self-awareness for a queen bee type. And she just keeps getting better.

Yeah, I have a crush. :D
