Epiphany?

After 23 years, I finally figured out what I want to *do* with my life. Took long enough, didn't it? Always felt left out of the "I wanna be a ____ when I grow up" crowd, but. I'm in the same situation. It took me 23 years and a long detour to realise that I actually wanted to be an actor, not an engineer.

It seems to take a lot of people some time and detours to figure it out. Actor, huh? Sounds fun (and challenging!) My boy's an engineer, and he's known it and worked towards it since forever, so I don't think he ever understood how I could *not* know what I wanted. :)

It is challenging, but I love it. I became an engineer (the only female in the company) because I liked sci-fi. It took me a while to realise that it was the fiction part I loved, rather than the science part alone.

Yeah, the actual mechanics of it'll be hard. I've really messed myself up, academically. If you ever need an example of what *not* to do, circa high school on... ::wave:: But man, I'd love to study this. Mechanics of language? Yes, plz!
