For some reason it didn't touch me as much as the last book did. It seemed so drawn out unnecessarily (all that camping in the forest). I also found Dobby's death really sad, to me the saddest part, actually. However, I really loved the story of Snape and Lily, I think this is my new OTP *ducks*.

But I wonder... what was the thing under the chair when Harry and Dumbledore talked, near the end? Was it Voldemort? Or was it Harry? Maybe I'm really dumb but I have no idea O_o

I think it was the Horcrux part of Harry, well Voldemort which Voldemort destroyed. So it was the last piece left of Voldemort. Sort of like the eye in the locket or Tom Riddle in the Diary.

I liked it very much. More than the last one actually. I agree with the camping thing though. Or maybe we were so used to Hogwarts that it seemed drawn out cause the book didn't take the usual route. But maybe J.K. Rowling planned for it to feel like this. Frustrating cause nothing was actually happening. I'm quite sad that although we see so much of Ron and Hermione the climax is not really there. They kiss and that's it and, whosh, several years later they are there with kids. I wanted more of a story for them.

Dobby's Death and Snape's Story were the best parts. I cried when I read that memory chapter, it was so cute and sad. *sigh*
