I was going to write a post talking about Beijing, but I am tired out from my morning trip to the health clinic. The Travel Health Clinic is outside the 5th Ring Road (more on that when I get around to that Beijing post), and getting there took me nearly an hour, with subway, bus, and walking all taking about a third of that. Nice! Since I'm on a Fulbright, my time outside China is pretty limited, but I'm hoping to go to Tokyo in July or August, and it would be cool to go see you! Plus after 10 months of Beijing it'd be nice to have to excuse to get out of big cities for a little while.

Would recommend you get in touch with Wes Morris. Not sure if ye met in person, but if not, ye have several friends in common, and he's going to Beijing in the near future.

I remember Wes! Do you have his email or anything? Facebook doesn't work in China.

I was worried because my only contact with him was via FaceBook, but apparently he has a way to check it (VPN or somesuch)? I'm hesitant to post here - should I send via LJmessage or e-mail or what?

Email is good. Facebook works if you have a VPN, but connecting to the VPN is hard, and I'm not sure he and I are Facebook friends, so...
