Aww, man. The rapport you built with Grace and her family is the kind of thing I dream about. Having more local friends (in addition to my unquestionably beloved friends I can only interact with online) is something I really want to try to work on this time. I'm sorry you have to go, too. And wow, that restaurant sounds amazing. *_* I really want to find a good Vietnamese place that serves stuff besides pho. Because pho is alright, but it's not my favorite. That grilled barbecue pork stuff on vermicelli noodles with the vinegar sauce, on the other hand... :9
