Working computer!

I finally got a working computer! I got wireless internet and now the new laptop is hooked up to it. Technically it isn't mine, my mom and I share it. But hey, at least it doesn't take five minutes to load my friends page and try to crash when I use AIM or Google Talk. I'm still saving up to get my own laptop. People underestimate the power of the netbook. I <3 my Eee. I've been using it at home more often than my desktop, because I can do my school, IMing, and daily routines with ease and from the comfort of our bed. I can even do very minimal WoW gaming on it, which says a lot about the power of it. With my modifications, I'm also going to have a touch-screen on it, and use it sideways as an eBook reader. They are a worthy investment~

How does it display websites? I've heard that the resolution can be a little wonky.

The resolution on my 7" Eee is only 800x480, widescreen, so it's a little odd sometimes..but if people don't code their pages stupid, they scale rather well. Plus, as I said, there's the option to view everything sideways and tilt the machine. You can also switch it to 800x600, but then you have to pan-and-scan it like weird DVDs. It's not really that inconvenient.
