I can't believe how much they are bitching! Tax cuts are helpful but if people are not employed and have no income, then tax cuts are not helpful!

I am very unhappy with the republicans currently.

And it amazes me how they cannot see that giving tax cuts to those who work enough to pay taxes is less stimulating on the economy than giving it to people who earn less than minimum wages etc. Right now, it's simple. Give the rich a tax cut, they'll bank it, because they don't need it anyway. Give the middle class tax cuts, and they'll frugally save it or use it to pay their mortgage, which is important in and of itself, as it keeps a roof over their head, but the money only changes hands once. Give money, or even better, decent-paying jobs to the working class and the poor, and not only do you get roads, bridges, power networks, and other infrastructure put in order, but they'll use the money to buy food and shoes and clothes, and the stores where they shop will give that money out in wages to their employees instead of laying them off, and then those employees will use *their* money on food and shoes and clothes, and a much better cycle will start ( ... )

Oh they are doing what their constituents want, big business being their primary one! They are being stupid and if they keep this up I think that next elections will result in them losing more seats.

I can't believe how unwilling they are to work with the democrats, yeah they claim that the democrats have not sought them out, but in truth they have and they were willing to work with them. The republicans were the ones to leave the talks not the democrats.

Ugh they are being selfish and stupid!

Did you see Keith Olbermann's somewhat schadenfreudich admission in his worst persons of the week segment? He put Rupert Murdoch as worst person, and admitted that he couldn't say that Newscorp was losing money because of Fox and O'Reilly's fascism, because pretty much every network was underperforming - only two newscasts were exceeding financial projections, his and Rachels. In other words, only Rachel and Keith are attracting more viewers, and segments like the one posted above is the exact reason, I think. Speaking the truth is powerful.
