Driving 90 miles an hour and racing the dawn home, I pass the sparkling jewel that is downtown Los Angeles and it takes my breath away for the moment I have to look up. And with the blue/black backdrop of the earliest light surrounding the tall buildings that twinkle in the night, the perfect song comes on the radio.
