Letting go is the hardest thing for me, right now I'm teaching Orion to cross the street by himself and there's really only one way to do that. His school schedule is such that half of the kids come to school an hour later than the rest so there isn't as much of a crowd in that drop-off hour. I can't tell you how many punishments my sis got for crossing the street without a grown up when she was little. It's a horribly nerve wracking thing or the parents when the kid is willful or absentminded enough to be a danger to themselves. Keep breathing, mom!
