I know I've brought this up before but your icon reminded me of something I've never understood since I was a little kid. All the other toys on the island of misfit toys are supposed to have some sort of flaw. WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WRONG WITH THAT DOLL????

I was wondering the exact same thing, so I looked it up: Producer Arthur Rankin finally revealed on NPR in 2007 that Dolly considers herself a misfit toy due to her low self-esteem issues and psychological problems. She's a doll who feels that she is unlovable.
