The Polar Vortex and Snow

Jan 21, 2014 21:12

And here we are again with horrible arctic temperatures:  it is currently 14 degrees F and I just had to shovel about eight inches of snow.  Now the snow was powdery, so it wasn't too heavy but the cold wind from the polar vortex which is now evading the East Coast is making it horrendous to be outside.

I can't wait for Spring.

doomed i say, weather issues, philadelphia suburbs

As the news people keep saying, the snow was up and down the 95 corridor--now we have the extreme cold. Fun indeed :)

ugh, not looking forward to shoveling again tomorrow morning. We did a little when we got home but it was still snowing and blowing everywhere so there was only so much we could do!

It is so freakin' blustery out there this morning--keep covered while you're shoveling.

Gah! It sure is. I had three layers on and it cuts like a knife.

I'm so done with this weather.

It is a sad state of affairs when you look at temps in the high 20's and low 30's as a warming trend!
