And I can imagine how difficult Danny's teenage years were--everyone else around him is growing taller and he's been the same height since grade school, so he had to learn pretty early how to defend himself.

And yes, I agree that in the actual episode, Danny was fabulous in how he handled all of the crisis thrown his way. I find that he has a tendency to be quietly badass which makes him beyond cool :)

And yes, Danny is just as badass as Steve and I think Steve's always known it--that's why he forced Danny to be his partner--Steve didn't want him as an enemy :)

This is how I think about it--Steve who has been in Navy Intelligence and then a SEAL would have to have some extremely badass people for his back up--hence Danny and all of his BAMF glory :):)

I think Danny is a person who first tries to talk his way out of a fight, but if push comes to shove, he is more than capeable of defending himself.
Grace is never not proud of her Danno and Steve is always gleeful when it turns out that his team is as badass as he is :)
