Apparently it snowed a bit last night in Roswell. In APRIL!! I just thought North Carolina was a freak of nature, but I guess the Apocalypse has struck all across the Southeast.

After spending a weekend in DC with my folks, touring GW, Georgetown, and William and Mary, I think I have decided that I want to go to THE George Washington Law School (yes, "the" is actually in the offical name). Don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with my boys. And yes, part of me still considers them "my boys" even if they don't acknowledge it. But it's hard to know that the friendship I thought (think?) I have with them is not as reciprocal as I would like it to be ( Read more... )

I got a call on Friday from George Washington Law School saying that I have been accepted!

Granted it's not one of my top choices. In fact, I wasn't too keen on either of the DC schools I applied to (GW and Georgetown) mostly because of the urban setting (yes, I am a suburbanite at heart). But, if all else fails, I've got somewhere to go!
