D'awwwwwww....I love it, omygish. Shooooooooo adorable, and eee!

As weeks went on, Bumlets got to know most of the employees at the Banner. He knew that Scribbler and Jack were pretty much in charge. He figured out that Zira was with Scribbler, and that making less-than-innocent comments about David being with Jack was perfectly acceptable (David throwing his equivalent of a fit was one of the common after-effects). He learned to avoid Specs if he didn't feel like being flirted with, and that Skittery was quite the cook. Mostly, he learned things about Kite...from other people. He liked what he heard. She wasn't at all like the dancers he was constantly being set up with back at Holmes Academy. There was something about her.

This whooooooooooooole paragraph made me grin and flail and squee.

And I mean it: I am printing this out to take to work for to read there.
