Cold rainy day here so I am wrapped in a fuzzy blanket watching the Grammys. Well actually I am waiting for Mumford and Sons to perform cause that's all I really want to see. I was hanging with my zombie homeys last night and forgot about the Grammys for a while I missed Fun.'s performance. :( I zipped through the rest of the show in about 45 minutes with my DVR, watching the performances that I liked. I really enjoyed the group performance of The Weight.

My Twitter list was Walking Dead,Spartacus and the Grammy's LOL.Heard the WD episode was good. Won't ever know cause ya know zombies.

Mumford did and great job. I loved The Weight. The gal from Alabama Shakes has an awesome voice. The Black Keys did a nice job too. Can't see what the hype is for Frank Ocean but glad that Chris Brown didn't win.

I don't "get" Frank Ocean, either, but then again I don't "get" any of those hip hop artists. Chris Brown is an ass. He'll get his comeuppance one day.

I never heard of Alabama Shakes, but I'll check them out. I'm so sick of Mumford and the Lumineers and the rest of this folk movement taking over my alternative radio station. It's not alternative if everyone is doing it!

Looking forward to the new Depeche Mode cd coming in March. Frank Ocean performed a song called Forrest Gump. Really really boring subject and song. They keep saying how brave he is to be gay. Too bad they can't applaud Adam cause at least the stage show would be more exciting. Lol.

Alabama Shakes are a bit country influenced but the lead singer has this awesome powerful voice with a bit of a haunting quality. Not sure there is much music anymore that could be called alternative.

I am off today but just getting around and it is already 11am. Gonna make pancakes for fat Tuesday.

It's great to read that your dad was able to enjoy his chocolate shake.

We got out yesterday for a little bit, but there are clearly many more roads to be widened and/or cleared.

I am impressed that your city got that much cleaned up. A storm like that would shut us down for a good 24 to 36 hours.

It was fun to shop yesterday thank you.

Big moment for Dad to eat something he loves so much.
It gives him something to look forward to.

I'm so glad you had a couple of days off where you were able to do enjoyable stuff and treat yourself to something nice :)
Also really pleased to see your dad able to enjoy a chocolate shake. Great news :)

Let's hope the good stuff keeps on coming ! You certainly deserve it, dear lady - along with some pennies to go in your stylish new wallet and purse !

This break from work came at a good time. We were getting too much crap from corporate so it was nice not to deal with it for a bit. I work till 11:30 tonight then I am off Tuesday. ;P Don't get another break till Sunday and we have a store meeting that night so not much of a day off.

Big deal for Dad and we are excited.

Glad your weather wasn't too bad.
