I have been off-line for a *good* three weeks. My ancient computer died, the replacement had a couple of damaged USB ports, but I now have a "fully functional" computer. So I've been playing LJ ketchup

I'm really sorry to hear that, I can't remember if I met her or not. If it was peaceful, then I'm glad for that much! I'm glad you appear to be weathering the storm well, too! The trip was interesting, and I never want to do it again. :)

Yes, I weathered the storm. Multiple light flickerings but no outage. And after two days of shoveling, things (my van, the driveway, the sun deck) are accessible again. Normal? No, three foot high walls of snow are not particularly normal. Don't you just wish you still lived in NH? Um, that's a rhetorical question. :)

No, it went as well as we could have hoped, after the legendary 6 hour/10 mile traffic jam on the first night, but I think ACat covered that. I am certainly not wishing I lived in NH just now, especially since I lived in MA during the blizzard of 1978 - no repeats needed, especially now that I'd be old enough to be the one shoveling!
