Okay, read through now and nicely done! I like how Iruka doesn't have an amazing, kick ass superpower, but it's still amazing nonetheless. there were some very good explanations there. Plus, I laughed when Kakashi wasn't talking to Iruka's mother XD

The scene with Iruka's parents was a definite collaborative effort. Demondreams said something, I said something and poof, the idea was in my head. And hell, even getting it back from Beta improved it to where I had to tweak it.

Oh, gods, yes. Uuhei is such a frigging character in her own right! Every time I start to write her, she's taking over and I'm writing what she want's me to say.

Mm, trust me it ties in, but I can't say more now.

~laughs~ Yes, it is real! We finally updated! Glad to know there are still people enjoying this.

It wasn't so much dark Iruka as reminding Kakashi (and everyone) that first and foremost, Iruka is still a ninja and can be deadly should the occasion warrant it.

Tsunade and Uuhei are characters. I try to write them and they play me like a violin. I will write them as they say.

Iruka can give as good as he gets.

I love Uuhei unbelievably, all the ninken, really, but her, most of all... She and the rest of the pack come alive under your pen (keyboard) like no one else manages, for me, at least. Tsunade was wonderful, as always, and I absolutely adore the Kakashi and Iruka interaction. I'd gush more, but running out of steam <3

I've said it before, certain characters come alive in my mind and won't let me write them any other way but what they dictate. Uuhei is one of them.

The whole chapter was amazingly fun to write once I got past the roadblocks and the characters were never so happy to be written!

Iruka is dangerous with traps. Give him a roll of chakra wire and a few tags, a couple of kunai and the odd office supply and he'll have grown shinobi crying for their mommies.

I'm happy for the squeeing, it tells me you enjoyed enough to not have the words.

I do the same thing. I can be half-asleep and somehow still manage to spell words like 'altruistic' when I can't spell 'the' right.
