That was lovely, Kita. Especially the sadness of the pawning of the rosary, and the denial that he remembers the look on her face as she gave it. That was exceptional writing right thar.

Can we just have this Booth instead?

Lovely work, Hun.

Ha! That's flattering, thanks. I do tend to prefer him with some internal consistency.

I'd just like him to have some internal anything. I'm always waiting for them to explore how truly fucked up he is instead of just fobbing it off and playing him as all surface. He has layers too!

Ow.

Maybe its just that my pain levels are quite high today, but now I want to cry.

According to your comments, we may kill you or kiss you. After reading this, I would certainly kiss you. a lot.

You've nailed the interior Booth and his penchant for strong, usually maritally unattainable women, in a nutshell. You've put more depth into Booth than the writers of the show often do.

I love the comic (as in divine comedy) of matching Booth with a strong woman who doesn't believe in God - though she believes in Booth.

Jeez, but you do write well, my dear.

How did I miss this?

He has layers Seeley does, just we rarely get to see them. You have captured the essence of Seeley Booth more surely in a thousand words than the show has managed in 6+ years. What a writer.
