Fortunately, the spam bot is not lying! This comic doesn't come across as slamming skinny people, to me. Totally read it as a criticism of retail. Totally get it, too. Even a few men have this problem.
Also, it's possible to be too average. I wear size 42w 34l pants. All the stores always seem to be out of this size, or completely fail to carry it. It's at the upper end of the regular pants, and never in the big and tall.

I can toootally relate to this. Or, even more embarrassing, when you have disproportionately MASSIVE thighs and you get a bigger size to fit them, but the waist is hanging off you so the lady gets you a smaller size, except you can't get them over your knees.
So I got a big 'ole booty, right. But I'm saying, I run every day and do karate so I'm in the best shape I'll ever be in, and I like my body. My waist is tiny, but my butt is like BOOM.
I'm trying on bikinis last year. I have a small up on top, and a large bottom. The booty isn't fitting into the large bottom. So I step out and ask the nice sales lady if they have an extra large.
She looks at me, and says "...we don't make bikinis in that size" and then walks away.
