One of my all-time favorite strips, and I think the art is fabulous. I definitely think you should do some indecent veggie Claymates. I was thinking of trying to make some felt veggies with underpants, but it would be just too fiddly.

That spiral is outrageous! I went on io9.com and they had some more videos. The missile theory makes a lot of sense, but man if that doesn't look like a time portal opening up. I suppose Norway is as good a place as any for time-travelers to show up...

Egads, what a weird thing that spiral is. I've seen rockets fail, and they never looked like that. I'm sure we'll never know what it really is/was. Heavens to Betsy!!

Ah, sorry, it would be lovely if it was extraterrestrial, but the Russians have now 'fessed up--it was a rocket launch that failed over the White Sea.
