Oh man. Today was lousy. At least, work was. My first art class was really good, but the second went to pieces and it had to be the day that my boss was observing my classes for a review. I left feeling like I wanted to start drinking beer in mass quantities ( Read more... )

your problem is the exact reason that when i was into anime/manga i liked things like ranma 1/2 and flcl. where the women kicked ass and took names! xD

although its irrelevant... just figured i'd say it.

I'm so glad you like the markers - the comic looks great! I love it, actually. We need more comic heroines like you!

You could do one where the comic you tries to be the stereotypical heroine, but, much like I would be, is klutzy and it just doesn't work, hehe! Or a fantasy gone wrong, or comebacks that don't make sense (or you think of the good comeback at like 3am)! Hehe! It always cracked me up how female superheros were so scantily clad - like, how do you fight in a bikini??

I know what you mean, I've always taken issue with those silly costumes... more often than not they look like they should be advertising their wares on the city streets for lonely businessmen rather than fighting bad guys.

It's not just Silk Specter, it's Black Canary, Power Girl, Hellcat, Miss Jupiter, Hawkgirl, Batgirl, Jungle Girl, even poor Ms. Marvel once she hit eighteen. They have no real purpose except to jump around in S&M gear and jiggle things.
