phone networks

This is a question for the Australian girls on my friends list... what mobile phone network are you on?

[I'm on Telstra, but am contemplating buying a new phone & switching networks, either to Optus or Vodafone, but am not sure which yet. May be decided by where I can get the most value from "free time", ie, network-to-network calls...]

I'm on prepaid because I'm not wed to my phone, but I use Vodafone, hun. Never had a complaint. (Telstra is nasty and overcharge-ariffic though. Smart thinking, getting out - unless you're a loooooooong term customer with multiple services/in an isolated area it isn't worth it)

I am with Virgin and haven't had a problem. Incidentally, a friend just had a terrible experience with Optus--she purchased a phone from them and it has been consistently faulty. She's sent it away three times for service, sent it away last week again and got a call yesterday saying that it can't be fixed. However, they have charged her a $50 delivery fee for sending it away and when she said that she was never told about a fee and wasn't paying it, they told her that it had already been charged to her account. Needless to say, she's changing providers.

I'm on a $49 cap with Vodafone. ($280 credit per month) No problems with them.
